The First Edition Keep Calm and Chive On

This is where it all started… the actual, original, authentic, first-off-the-assembly line “Keep Calm and Chive On” t-shirt, owned and adored by John Resig, President and Co-Founder of theCHIVE.

Manufactured in April 2011, John’s #00001 original Keep Calm tee is up for auction and all proceeds will go to Caleb and his family, whose story was relayed to us by U.S. Navy Seal, author, and Chiver, Marcus Luttrell.

Caleb is an active service member diagnosed with Right Parotid Mucoepidermoid High Grade Carcinoma — basically an extremely rare stage 4 cancer of the salivary gland. He’s currently on leave as he undergoes treatment, but has hopes of returning to combat operations soon. Donations will help support Caleb's family pay their new mortgage while Caleb undergoes treatment.
